Welcome to Howlin’ T-Wolf!
I’d like to welcome those new readers finding their way here from Henry Abbott’s great TrueHoop blog. I’m excited to have been chosen as the ESPN affiliate blog of the Minnesota Timberwolves and as part of the TrueHoop Network. A big thanks to Henry and Kevin Arnovitz at ClipperBlog for starting the network and bringing me into it.
Like the Wolves are right now in the NBA, I am way out of my league in this network of experienced and savvy bloggers. However over time I hope to grow and reach my full potential just as my beloved Wolves undoubtedly will over the next 2, 3, 4 years. Consider me the Ricky Rubio or Jonny Flynn of Wolves bloggers to Canis Hoopus’s and T-Wolves Blog’s Kevin Love and Al Jefferson. I hope that Howlin’ T-Wolf will grow by adding different skills and features to our blogging repertoire and ultimately turn into your favorite place to come and talk Wolves and get updated content and commentary on the team with the most potential in the NBA north of OKC. (Go take a look at Daily Thunder for a great blog about the up and coming Thunder).
Feel free to take a look around the site and read some of the previous posts. I’ll be constantly updating things and looking for ways to make them better and I’ll always be open for any comments, questions, and constructive criticisms so please, please don’t be shy. What a nice name for a Timberwolves’ blog ! Is there a connection with Chester Burnett aka Howlin’ Wolk ? Anyway, it’s on my bookmarks.
@ awopbopaloobopalopbamboom The only connection is that I started the blog the night after I watched Cadillac Records, however it must have been a sub-conscious thing because I didn’t realize the connection until after it was up and running.
Anyone have an update on Nikola Pekovic? Our 2nd round draft pick from last year, it got rave reviews and I believe he was expected to come over in 2-3 years.
