Rough game for the Wolves on Saturday evening in Indiana but hopefully we can bounce back tomorrow night against the Warriors of Golden State at home. Here’s today’s Wolf Tracks:

Timberwolf Tracks:
- Wolves rookie Wayne Ellington’s production has increased and so has his playing time. Rambis says ‘He’s earned the time’, so let’s hope he can keep it up.
- Rubio alert: Orlando’s Marcin Gortat had the honor of watching young Ricky overseas and he’s got an update on his development in Europe.
- Remember when the Wolves lost to Golden State by 41 points earlier this season? Well, Wolves players sure do and they are ready to hit the Warriors where it hurts tomorrow night .
- Ever since Ryan Gomes sprained his ankle back in early December, Damien Wilkins has stepped in nicely adding some veteran leadership as well as a reliable option to go to down the stretch.
Truehoop Tracks:
- Many Wolves myrmidons will argue that we need to duplicate the path of the Thunder and rebuild through the draft. I argue that the Wolves 2 biggest needs are at the wing positions, where a they have lackluster scoring options. The reason for the Thunder’s success this season is a result of both of these debates in the form of Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook, and even this year’s rookie James Harden.
- European players are such a hit or miss situation, which makes me ponder the future of Rubio, but Dirk Nowitzki was quite the bullseye. Is he really the NBA’s best European player ever?
Other Tracks:
- Some wonder how sticky this Gilbert Arenas situation really is. Take a look at this.
