Wolf Tracks 2/24
The Wolves picked up a big victory last night against Miami to keep them from spiraling even further down in defeat. The win snapped a six game losing streak and to do it on the road adds even more meaning to the “W”. Here are today’s Wolf Tracks:
Timberwolf Tracks:
- Here is the Star Tribune’s take on last night’s game.
- Canis Hoopus writes that the Wolves have split amongst two types of teams: Team Jonny and Team Darko.
- This is a nice little chart that shows the Wolves have a decently consistent rotation but not a good winning percentage. The winning percentage part is pretty obvious but I wouldn’t have guessed on the Wolves having a consistent rotation.
- Hoopdata has just gotten better — they now predict salary cap! Check out what the Wolves outlook is like.
Truehoop Tracks:
- This was in Henry Abbott’s Bulletts yesterday. It is a letter from Latrell Sprewell saying, well, you can just read it yourself. It made me chuckle.
- Here is Hot Hot Hoops’ take on last night’s game in Miami.
Other Tracks:
- Kobe dazzles in his return to the court last night by scoring 32 and hitting the game winning three-pointer.
- The new piece of the Washington Wizards, Josh Howard, will no longer be a piece at all. Howard has torn his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
