• the Wolves struggling all season, its been tough love for them in Marc Stein’s Power Rankings. But all of a sudden, we have climbed out of the pit of hell (the final two spots) where we’ve been all season, all the way to #24!
• This is a comment from David Thorpe concerning our Timber-Puppies’ play on Saturday:

In beating the Grizzlies on Saturday, the Timberwolves had something amazing happen: Ryan Gomes scored 20 first-half points. Then Corey Brewer had 15 in the third quarter, and Al Jefferson had 16 in the fourth quarter. “All these teams that play isolation basketball,” says David Thorpe, “I wish they’d see the value in using a system like Minnesota does, where they can move the ball to where it’s most effective.”

• Interesting article from 48 Minutes in Hell. IT’s about the Richard Jefferson trade to the Spurs last summer and how the team hasn’t found chemistry yet, but they defend that it was still the right move.
