Wolf Tracks 10/28
Timberwolves Tracks:
- Glen Taylor assured the media, and Minnesota’s fan base, that the team is safe from being contracted. DAMN RIGHT!
- Check out Wes Johnson’s first NBA dunk. Look out below, Luther Head!
- Here’s more on the Tolliver-over-Love dilemma in last night’s game via the Pioneer Press
It was Tolliver, a hard-working power forward, who replaced Love for the rest of the fourth quarter. In a quick move to head off any discord after one game, Rambis said his decision to play Tolliver was nothing “negative” against Love but based more on what Tolliver was doing.
- Souhan has some words on Beasley. He looked awfully talented on the floor, but one must wonder what goes on inside that man’s head sometimes.
- The Timberwolves clearly have tons of questions surrounding them. Can Stephen Litel answer any of them?
- There’s a lot of positive energy surrounding the Wolves this year. A cast of smiley faces and raw talent got them there. But Judd Spicer wants to know if there’s any faith left.
NBA Tracks:
- The Miami Heat grabbed their first win of the season over the Philadelphia 76ers, led by none other than Dwayne Wade.
- Blake Griffin shines in his NBA debut but is shut down by Brandon Roy and the Blazers, losing 98-88.
